Are you looking for your next career step? Do you want to work somewhere that actually makes a difference in SA? We’re looking for an amazing storyteller who can bring our internal communications to life on a 12-month fixed term contract.
About Health Partners
We’ve been looking after the health and wellbeing of South Aussies for over 85 years. While a lot has changed in this time, our values remain the same. We’re proudly not-for-profit, we put our members first and are dedicated to providing quality, value-for-money private health cover.
We support the health journeys of over 95,000 individuals, not just with Private Health Insurance, but with our versatile network of participating providers who offer our members generous benefits on a range of services including physiotherapy, podiatry and even pharmacy. We also own and operate dental practices and optical stores across South Australia â giving our members the choice to be looked after by our team of clinical experts or pick their own provider.
While we offer cover Australia-wide, our heart is in South Australia where we’re creating a better state of health for our members and the local community. To be a Health Partners member is to know you’ve got someone on your side â no matter what your health and wellbeing journey looks like.
About the role
We know there’s nothing more personal (or human) than your health, so we’re looking for someone to bring our internal communications to life. With a focus on interpreting and simplifying our strategy into clear and engaging assets, the Internal Communications Lead ensures our people are on the same page, no matter their team or location.
Our Communications team is the heart of our business. From member communications to internal storytelling, they cover it all, so this new role will support the Manager Communications & Community Engagement to develop, capture and share our exciting internal stories. At Health Partners, we’re friendly, genuine and a bit charming, so this means communicating strategic updates in a way that makes people sit up, tune in and understand. You’ll coordinate internal assets and work with passionate stakeholders, so our internal stories are engaging, clear and human.
Key responsibilities:
About you
You’re passionate about bringing stories to life and you’re a whizz with making a message land at the right time for the right audience in the right medium. There’s no in-the-box thinking here!
To be our Internal Communications Lead, you’ve worked in this field for a couple of years so you’ve got some serious storytelling skills (and can back it up with a solid communications plan and asset production skills). You’re comfortable working with all kinds of stakeholders â from Executive to contact centre staff and Health Services and you relish simplifying complex ideas into engaging stories and assets so they’re clear and most important, human, for your audience.
If you have similar experience that reflects these requirements, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to thrive in this role.
What’s on offer?
To be on our Adelaide team means your part of something pretty special. You’ll be working with a diverse range of people who are committed to doing things Side by Side.
